Thanks, I had googled for info and stumbled upon a website (FORD?) with complete instructions on the process, including tool part numbers, a table matching shim outer stamped numbers vs shim thinckness, etc. I printed it out.
Don't remember how I got there, but I believe I entered the knuckle puller tool number into Google. Everyone has been a great help, thanks. My twentieth anniversary is this weekend, but afterwards I'll get back on finishing the bearings.
