Couple issues with my recent purchase

Replaced TPS and timing seems fine but it still slows waaay down when letting off the gas while doing anything over 40mph. There is not Cat on the car and I don't believe the muffler is clogged in any way. Also did some adjusting to the TPS, I can angle it which helps with the issue but makes the car idle higher, not really sure whats causing the issue.
