    Well I'm definitely going for some forged pistons. Its crap that mazda didnt use them to start with.

    Where does everyone get their B6T rebuild parts? What kinda money am I looking at here?

      Im sure you could get ahold of Russ and maybe trade some if your rust free parts for some extra internals. Just a thought.

        I think at this point Im looking at a turbo or NA longblock and put all my stuff on... maybe save up a real rebuild, I cant afford $600 for a set of pistons ATM.

          try replacing the turbo seals first.

            it may be eaiser or cheaper (or both) to just buy an upgraded turbo like the vj11... (626 gt)

              Here's a break down..
              Turbo Rebuild $80
              Gasket kit $80
              Head should be gone through new valves and seals cleaned and flattened if needed $325
              Find some used pistons $150 buy new rings

              Sounds like an expensive night at the track....

              Find another XR2 for cheap is your best bet...

                Yea I'd rather just ditch the vj14. Its well known for sucking past stock performance levels.
