I know Festivas only blow warm air through defrost and feet but my 90lx just blows cold out every vent even when engine warms. Thinking maybe new heater core? What's a good way to check?

It is probably plugged.....or you may have a mouse nest inside the housing preventing the heat from releasing."FLTG4LIFE" @FINALLEVEL , "PBH"

I would take the heater hoses off the heater core and put the nozzle of a pressure washer at a car wash in each tube and flush it out. If nothing comes out, reconnect the hoses, and check for that pesky mouse nest. LOLhttp://www.cardomain.com/id/hawkdoc60

OH MY...LMAO! :laughing2:
Yes, I bypassed the heater core when I did the "Cascade flushing of oily goo from the engine", after the PO blew a head gasket.
I bet if you feel the heater hose it gets toasty warm...
I would recommend flushing both ways of the heater core BEFORE putting into service.

Jesus I'd think you would at least look at the car before you start asking!

I don't know why "Dawn" dish soap wouldn't work. It gets grease off my hands and I don't see it ruining the components.
Just my 2¢.
