    My own personal contribution:

Fantastic read of some absolutely obsessed engine rebuilder. I envy his/her dedication and finances.

Good... hope it's a big core or a very efficient system. I hate seeing big builds skimp on intercoolers when they need them.

Rocketchip. No point in MegaSquirt unless you're doing some heavy tuning, building your own manifolds, deleting the OEM monitoring equipment, or intending to heavily fund/race an autocross project. The factory equipment with the chip will handle everything you throw at it no problem. Plenty of 180+WHP B6T's around with just a Rocketchip... doesn't take much.

Get an Eclipse 1990-1994 Blow-Off Valve if you can... they'll enjoy being over 15PSI much more than the OEM Mazda piece. Uncrushed they can handle 18PSI, but if they are slightly modified, they take up to 22-24PSI rumour has it.

Mazda was pretty incestuous with their bearings. You can find both sets on Ebay for under $50 shipped out the door. Here's your list of options for rod/main bearings:

              1994-2005 1.8L MAZDA MIATA MX5 BP DOHC 16V

I got a compact cooler its pretty compact bc I'm gunna mount it over the tranny with a scoop and pull fanits 16" wide x 8" tall x 4" thick..... its for a mr2 and I bought and rebuilt a t04b turbo.

Wow... that's pretty thick. Were it thinner, it would fit great next to the stock radiator. Good luck with the mounting... I'm excited to watch this build for sure!

That is my other mount option I was thinking about but I'm not sure if I'm gunna need to get a bigger radiator to compensate for the heat? But that was the original plan. Was gunna do a sti scoop but not sure yet. Still looking to see if I can find a custom exhaust manifold that dosent cost more than I payed for my car lol
