  • door froze- now won't close

So here is my real question. On the drivers door, is there 2 parts that fold down over the latch or just one? Because right now I can only see one folding down, and its not latching... I drove to work holding the door closed...... hopefully no internal parts are broken.. may take it apart tonight..

Sounds like the one not folding is frozen in place, try some deicer or just let it thaw a bit.

I'd try lubricant, a few drops or spray of oil.

I had that problem in my mountaineer all the time. It just needs to thaw out and it will work fine. Your better off not messing with anything, or else your bound to make it worse than it is haha.

either put it somewhere warm or try some deicer or something.
