Thanks for the replies guys, I don't have time to reply to them all (in a hurry), but I read em!

I managed to snap a few pics today, here they are (sorry if they're a bit out of focus).

    What do you think NOW?

That's what mine did only at the muffler end. It's kind of nice that you can replace one part at a time, but yours seems pretty rusty. Good luck! That Ebay deal is a good one. Hope shipping's not too high.

I've fixed mine temporarily with some coat hangers and a welder before... I was a bit short on cash that week, I did get it fixed properly though.... can't remember what it cost...

If I were to purchase that exhaust system (or any other for that matter), would I be able to install it myself? Or should I bring the system to the shop at the corner and have them pop it on for me.

I am a newbie, and have no tools. Haha.

            Thanks guys!!

id call the corner exhuast shop and ask them to build you a system from a combo of new and hack offs of other cars. make him beat 125 cash out the door and do it. Festivas don't need a large diameter, if you look behind a muffler shop the stuff they throw away is all over 2 inch these days. The replacement is 170 shipped to your door and you still have to put it on. That is also without cat. If he can include a cat under 2 bills that would be a really good deal.

Unless you have emissions tests, I wouldn't care about the cat. It decreases MPGs and performance, and your smog without it still won't be as bad as a larger sedan with one present.
