Problem with steering, cv axle, help me diagnose.

    I have pulled both at the same time and have had no problems (over a year since then) but I also was very careful with the tranny while it was in and out of the car... I guess it might be a problem when shock is introduced w/o the axles in that will cause the spider gears to drop down... Just my thoughts.. -Kyle

      Yes I used to do it that way everytime, but the possibility that those gears might fall out and then subsequent removal and disassembly of the transmission changed my mind. I guess you have to be a gambler. :lol:
