If i remember right I think it is still 4 wires, just a diffrent plug. Not sure but I can get pictures since I still have the carpet removed and the harness exposed.

After re reading the beginning of this thread I have it backwards. Your swapping a 89 engine into a 93 shell right? I did this in reverse. I swapped a newer engine and harness into a 89 chassis. you should be able to get by with just swapping the engine harness but like I said, the rear 93 harness might be different then the 89 harness. I know the fuel pump plugs were different.

so we pulled the harness had to pull the dash to access everything, installed the new harness, found out that the dash plugs didnt match, dash's from behind completely different, different framing, duct work and harness! i was shocked, also found out that where the main harness plugs in with the dash body harness was different, i started pulling the harness. so its a entire wire swap! i hope i get everything right!

its pretty much a complete tear down, the only thing not touched on the car is the head liner, seats, motor, trans, cooling system, dash, carpet all out! please prey to the festiva gods for me.
