When the OP did the BP swap in my Festiva, he never hooked up the wire from the temp sending unit to whatever wire goes to the cluster gauge. I was wondering, if I hooked up a wire from the sending unit to the wire going into the cluster, will my temp gauge work?

It should..... isn't the stock temp sensor wire still intact? just re-use that wire instead of running a whole new one

yea, usually the plug just gets deteriorated and/or the wire breaks just before the plug. It can be soldered on to get an even more accurate reading if you can.91 Festiva GL "Scrat"

Theres a cut wire on the sending unit at the thermostat housing but I don't know where the rest of the wire is. I'll do a hard target search today and hope to find it.Originally posted by Damkid View PostSemper Fi til I die!
