      Bad Coil or connection
      Bad Condensor or connection
Blown fuse labeled "Engine" @ fuse panel.

I'm assuming you dried the cap & inspected it and other areas for water.

ok, then if the coil is good and there's power to it, you have 1 of 3 issues: the coil doesn't see ground to charge, the coil isn't seeing the ground go away so that the field can collapse to the secondary winding and make a spark, OR your pick-up coil isn't signaling the ICM to release the ground to the coil to make a spark.

if you have power and ground to the coil, all you need to do to verify coil opperation is turn the key on an then break the ground connection to the coil. you SHOULD get a spark at the tower wire (placed near ground).

                  Coil + = BK/W
Coil - = Y/GN (this wire goes to Ign module & splits for test connector). It changes color to white going into Ign module.
Ign module to ECA = BL/O
                  Ign Module Grd = BK
                  Hope this helps

don't worry about that wire for the moment, it's got nothing to do with spark.

I know it might be a pain in the ... But is there any chance you could get the wiring harness off the car you got the ecu from? It won't be an easy fix, but maybe you have a break in one of the wires inside the bundle somewhere grounding something out? It would be a last ditch effort, and I would hate to do it, but if you can't figure it out this way, it might be worth a shot...?!? Then you would know for sure wether or not all the grounds are good, i bet thats what it's going to boil down to anyway.

The yellow/blue wire should be the tach wire, it is on my 94 aspire anyway.

Well we have been swapping parts from my car and i would rather not do a harness swap. We took the bracket the coil is on and everything on the bracket and put it in my car along with the distributor and ecu and we got spark, so i figure that pretty well narrows it down to wiring. We checked quite a few wires and all seemed ok and had no resistance so we are at a loss at the moment. Any ideas would be helpful and any ideas on wires to check would be great also.
