i agree, swap the vaf out first. the jerking sounds like timing is off,or lack of air. try 2 cans of fuel injector cleaner,in the tank. or let a garage,clean the injectors. check all switch connections,clean them. put fresh emission lines on.could be a simple fix.check timing too. mdoyleufo@gmail.comComment

I'm in Sedalia. A little closer, but not by much. BTW, I agree that your VAF is suspect, and would recommend you get to a local junkyard, and find another one. If that is not possible, go to ebay. If that is not possible, I can lend you one, to try. PM me, if you need one.
