I'm just interested in hearing how long your clutches have lasted. My Festiva just hit 181,000 miles and it still has the original clutch in it. I have noticed that it is chattering a little more now and it engages with the pedal close to all the way out, but it still seems to work fine!

Pulled the original out of a 220k car when doing a BP swap. Still working fine, but I replaced it anyway because the BP would have torn it to shreds I'm sure. Friction material was getting low, but not too bad. I kept it around as a spare just in case I needed one in a pinch, but it ended up getting oil on it from a leaky container in my garage so I tossed it lol.No festiva for me ATM...

Original one lasted 120k miles. Replacement didn't even last a year, it shattered after the BP swap.

My '89 has 115k km and the original clutch which chatters when I don't rev the engine enough before letting it out. It's me, not the clutch. I drive like an old lady.Original owner of silver grey carburetted 1989 Festiva. 105k km as of June 2006. 140k km as of June 2021.

My aspire has about 170k+/- i changed the speedo so the exact number is unknown, anyway.. something is going on with it, I've got a replacement but the guy I bought it from told me the problem is most likely the transmission synchros. I don't see a point in paying 300$ for a rebuild kit so i'll probably run it till it breaks and find a f or g series replacement in preparation for a motor swap.2008 Kia Rio- new beater

^^^ same on mine. Burnt an ex valve about 40k ago and that's the first major thing gone wrong with it since 88. Other than a bout of bad wheel bearings...89 L, hopefully returning from the dead soon with a little more power...
