Hey guys I haven't had a chance to pick up a manual yet. I need to know the torque spec for the axle nut on the back wheels. Thanks for any info

there isn't a spec for that nut, what you so is put everything together and keep spinning the drum and tightening the nut until the drum takes some effort to spin, then back it off 1/8-1/4 turn (till the drum frees up but doesn't have play) and stake it down there.Trees aren't kind to me...
currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

After you stake it down you can check for heat or play next time you drive it. The main culprit was the fact the previous owner didn't believe in cotter pins. The bearing was un damaged in the process.NTRCOOL
