It probably has enough gas to get you to the first stop sign lol

Surprisingly enough he only used about 1/8 of a tank. So I'm guessing it still gets good gas mileage. Not bad for year old gas, down to just under 1/4 of a tank so cleaning comes soon!

Anyway, I found out why the charge light was on....the freaking serpentine belt broke off!

I didn't even think about to look at it until I turned over the car and saw my rpms were up to 1400 at idle when it is usually 700-1000. Auto parts store guy came back with 2 wrong belts before I got a V-belt and that one was smaller than the original; good thing we have adjustable alternator brackets!

What is red line rpms in a stock 92 festy motor anyway? I have my tach set at 5k, I've never gotten it past 3.5k so I'm not really worried.

Spray everthing with WD-40 and let it work overnight.

wd-40 sprayed in the end of the stalk of the headlight switch where it rotates, the colum where it connects to, the key hole itself... awaiting the magic ...

It worked! I had to remove the wheel and the colum covers. Took the switch off the shaft and begun the hose down of WD40. then let it soaked. compressed air off the part.. put it back and low, high beams and high beam to pass.. all working good..
