What's the best way to re-install the fuel injectors? i have all but one in and its not easy, its broken two o rings so far. I tried to re-install injector with little to no wiggling it as i was told that would shred them, but the one on the far driver side is tearing it up even after being lubed up. Thanks in advance everyone.

No, you've probably already dropped the fuel rail "spacers" on the ground, and now you're crushing the washers when you tighten the bolts. Here read this post for a better explanation:
By the way, I just had my wife order 50 O rings (viton) should be in monday.
Yes, when you lose these seals, you lose the critical fuel pressure needed at the injector/s

Had a funny thing just happen on a b3 engine I just picked up. I noticed that when the p.o. pulled the fuel rail they didn't realize there are two critical spacers between the rail and where it mounts to the intake. The way the fuel rail is oriented, once you pull the bolts and then lift the rail off, the spacers always tumble down the back of the engine to the ground. Because I know this, I'm always able to retrieve my spacers. The p.o. did not, and replaced the fuel rail crushing all of the upper spacing washers on all 4 injectors, all of the lower sealing washers and then split a couple of the sealing o rings on 2 of the injectors and gauled the other two because they were driven into the rail too far!

I just wanted to point that out to you or any one else who might not be aware of the spacer situation, and to offer access to this huge batch of O rings I have coming my way monday! Here are 3 pics of them under the fuel rail, the first two would be of the fuel rail from behind it, or the windshield side of the engine.

This last pic is with the fuel rail flipped upside down to better show the actual fitment of the spacers.

Go out where you first pulled the bolts and then the fuel rail and look for those black spacers on the ground, now you know exactly what they look like.

I've kept track of the bottom spacers very carefully and its not that. i have everything where it should be but i think it may be the fuel injector rail itself, because its just the one FI slot that keeps tearing up the rings, already tore up one new one today, so scitzz and i are gonna see what the deal is here, if push comes to shove ill just replace the fuel injector rail

If you take a look inside the fuel rail, you'll see it's only machined inside so far. Where the machining ends, it leaves a pretty sharp edge of the casting. If the injector is allowed to go into it's individual port too far, it bottoms out on that sharp edge, subsequently galling the sealing washer. This is obviously what happen to mine as a result of the previous owner losing/leaving the fuel rail spacers out. My wife brought the O rings I had her order home today and they're one size to large. She'll reorder them tomorrow, so I should have a fresh batch shortly.

Don't forget to lube those rings before install. I'm not sure what type of lubricant but I know they'll rip if they're not.

Edit: missed the earlier mention of it.

Yep, we used a 9-volt "transistor radio" battery when testing the individual injectors when we were trying to get NOPLAY running way back when. Same situation: stale gas had gummed up all 4 injectors & none of them would open up. I strongly recommend NEVER using a car battery to check an injector due to the amount of current it could supply instantaneously, which would turn the little inductor in the injector into so much Magic White Smoke. A 9v "transistor" battery can't supply enough instantaneous current to damage the little coil. You should hear a little "tic" when you touch the injector's leads to the 9v battery. Little alligator clip or clip-lead hook-up leads help a lot.

Actually, I was remembering Smedley mentioning that there was a way to hook a nine volt battery to them....this is easier

EXACTLY the thing I was thinking of! THANK YOU SAM!

OK, just an update, I went out, and slipped the injector in for him. I think the rail liked me more than him, it slid in, and hasn't leaked. I can say that his "method" must be OK, since the other three work fine, just a matter of touching the old girl in the right spot in the right way
