This has me rather confused. I've read CEL codes on my car before, even with the BP. I tried grounding the 1 wire plug today, and the CEL stays lit. No flashing, or anything. The car will also not start with the plug grounded. It still cranks, just doesn't fire. Any ideas?

You grounded the wrong single wire connector, at a guess.
There are two single wire connectors in the master cylinder area.
Try the other one.'93 Blue 5spd 230K(down for clutch and overall maintanence)

Accidently did this myself, that's why I suspect that's what he's done.
If the car is running when you ground out the wrong connector, it will shutdown and not restart till you remove the ground.
I did not have any issues after I did this.
I can't remember what the other connect goes to.
Maybe someone else can tell you!'93 Blue 5spd 230K(down for clutch and overall maintanence)

Hah, thank you! The other plug was hiding behind the coil, i swear it was. :p Everything seems to be fine, even after grounding the wrong plug.
