Loosen and retighten make sure it's straight. When that pulley is wobbling it is putting tons of pressure on the crank bearings.

i put the glass in(which has nothing to do with anything) and turn the key and it fired up and ran....but my crankshaft pully is wobbling like crazy so i shut the motor off. hmmm now what? it also dies when i try to go in 1st gear.
btw my W does work some times, so the post is supposed to say now what, not no what.

I can't remember but isn't there a notch down there the pulley fits on? If it's not ligned up then it would wobble for sure. Anyway, you can remove the sparkplugs, take the car out of gear, and turn the engine over by hand to examine the wobble more closely. Good luck.

Drop the motor a little on the pulley side by loosening the three 17mm nuts on the motor mount. Remove the splash shield from the wheel well. Check the 4 small bolts. The big bolt is 21mm. I tighten mine with an impact but there are more accurate (difficult) ways.

^^ nitto is right, our whoppign 63 hp didn't require one must be. Aspires are the same way. Being a 93, he should have a large nose, make sure the locating pin is in the correct hole and make sure the pulleys are on straight. I had one that wobbled on an aspire. The guy had it on crooked. Loosened the 4 10mm bolts and re-seated it and tightened in a crossing pattern and that took care of it.
