  • Motor/Transmission Mount Location

Ive done a search but couldn't come up with anything that helped so i've added a picture to be more precise. I've been looking underneath the car and cant seem to find where this mount is located? Any ideas on how to replace it? Ive already replaced the other two mounts. Thanks for helping.

That picture is upside down also. The stud goes through the crossmember.

Those are the weak ones..nobody on the west 1/2 of the US carries them.
The nut for the stud is inside a hole in the crossmember. The other two
bolts are through the trans bell housing, close to the rack and pinion.

How did you know it was bad if you can't find it?

engine shakes when starting off in 1st gear. I just went ahead and decided to change all of the mounts. i pulled them all off and they all had cracks in the rubber. After replacing the other two mounts the vibrations went away.

It's there but hard to see, especially if your laying on your back in the driveway.
That front to back cross member hides it pretty good.
