I would add that make sure you don't have an oil leak anywhere (valve cover) that would get on the hose; the oil may affect the hose causing it to deteriorate. Happened with my '88.

If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

When mine went I had the parts store look up the bypass hose for a 323 and they had like 6 in stock and didn't list one for the Festiva, haha. Worked perfectly.
