Nothing compared to this site. They seem to have members, but no one has posted any good info, and threads are old, very little posting.

Sorry about the explanation I will try again. Things in the computer system that can
act like a bad accelerator pump. They are the TPS and the MASS. The mass wires
have to be clean or you will get good electrical checks but the readings will not
respond quickly to changes in air flow causing a stumble and lurches.

During its first tune up because of its history I would check the fuel filter for dirt
and check the little screens on top of the injectors for junk pumped up there
with the fuel. Run cleaner to clean the carbon from valve pockets. Watch for corroded
connectors while you are working on it. enjoy it!

Yes, I am headed in that direction. I kinda put it on the back burner, as I am in swap mode on Festy, and want to finish. I too. suspect the mass. I have already cleaned the air filter (it was very dirty!) and put on a new fuel filter by the tank, when the fuel pump went out.
I bought spark plugs, but havent put them in yet.

just for clarification, its a MAF, not MASS. Mass Air Flow sensor.

Just an update, if interested. It was the MAF. Weird, when I took it out, all looked clean inside, but I used brake clean on it anyway, put it in and....It ran great!!!!
