I need help again. Power windows require a separate 30A fused circuit to the Ignition 2 wire. Currently the Festiva Ignition 2 wire (blue/red) feeds the CIGAR fuse only. As you can see the Pride fuse block has power window and door lock fuses where there is normally empty slots in the Festiva fuse block. The question I have is what is the best and safest way to split power off from the thick blue/red ignition2 wire to the adjacent fuse slot? Is a splice in order? If so, does the wire have to be the same gage as the thick blue/red wire? Or, can it be a half as thick?

Not sure what gauge wire to use, but ab automotive self-resetting circuit breaker is usually better for power windows. Winter months might freeze or bind them and it would only trip the breaker for a minute.
