Need some help guys. My 89 carby just stopped today. It's getting fuel to the carby but not firing all it is doing is turning over. Any help would be grateful.

Well if it's getting gas it's probably something electrical. Check your spark plugs, ignition coil...etc etc. I'm not much help in this area. Not a fan of carbs. Did it just not fire up for you today? Or did it just quit running while you were driving it?

If they're at all like EFIs there is an ignition power relay to check for (hidden near the headlight and inside the fender driver side), wire loop fuses in the block on the driver's side shock tower, ignition module and the ignition coil. Test light helps as does the Haynes manual.
Do not overlook the possibility of a broken timing belt. I've done that. EFIs also have an idiot sensor within the dizzie that tells the computer that the dizzie is turning. Without that signal the car behaves as if it's dead in the water even though the dizzie physically is turning. Ya gotta love electronics.
