  • Belt/Pulley problem...

I bought my 1989 Festy, the motor seems very strong with 156000 and burns no oil... I figured just my good fortune... fortunes chage:eeeeeek:

I had the Alternator/Water Pump belt break...

The alternator and water pump take a V belt, the crank pulley is a ribbed belt...

I have located a set of pullies to make it a ribbed belt all the way around IF they fit.

My question is the pullies that I have located to do the job are 1.8 BP/b8 pullies, will they work on my 1989 1.3l festy?

Please keep repair type questions like this in the repair help section

      1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

they're actually aspire pulleys :p wasn't trying to mislead you, I've got 2 sets of aspire pulleys, a set of rio pulleys, and the BP pulleys that are on my bp. Those pictured came off a 94 aspire WP and alt..and should be what you need.
