I used a 3/8 drive 10mm socket. Wrap the drive end with tape so it fits snug in the disk. The tapered part will center itself in the pilot bearing. Good Luck!
I've got a collection of those! Anytime I replace a broken trans that I'll be scrapping I always cut the primary shaft off to keep as an alignment tool
Alignment tools available at any part store for about $5 or so....
