what things should i be concerned about if any besides the sensors wich i can switch over, i dont know wich ones, i suspect that would be the only difference?

no one, knows of anything that will be a possible problem?
the auto is a 1990, and the manual is a 1993.
oh one thing thats puzzling me is the nut securing the axle on the drivers side to the hub is really stubborn, i have an impact wrench, and that still didnt loosen it, is it clockwise to loosen or somthin like the rear passenger spindle nut?, ive broken a wrench with a breaker bar trying to loosen it, if i cant get it off i think ill have to leave the tranny in the engine bay when i lift the motor. any suggestions?1989 Miitsubishi Mirage turbo RS, 4G61T, smic, 3"S.S. 13g, EBC,

if that's the case,
you will need to swap separation plates, to the manual transmission
lose the starter mounting bracket
and find a vacuum hose plug , to plug off the one line that went to the automatic trans
as far as know, the sensors on either engine are exactly the same
and as far as the spindle nut is concerned, you will need to un-stake the nut before taking off the regular left hand threaded nut

got the auto motor pulled yesterday, gonna pull the 5spd today and do the switch,
you will need to swap separation plates, to the manual transmission
lose the starter mounting bracket
and find a vacuum hose plug , to plug off the one line that went to the automatic trans

switching engines from automatic to manual
I did that already, swap the engine electrical harness over from the old engine to the new one it's easier than trying to splice wires, trannies have different connectors. Other than that you just have to take the torque converter and flywheel off the automatic and put on the manual flywheel (they are different for the transmission types) and you pressure plate. Line up the pressure plate w/the tool (some pressure plates come w/then ) and you'll be rock'n in no time.
