    As far as I know. I'm still on my second tank of gas. It was getting low on the old gauge so it definitely shouldn't be reading full when I install the new gauge.

      The only thing I can come up with is the rheostat in the sending unit may not be getting the right signal to the gauge. You need another Festy to check it in.
