Still better also stack blocks under the rear axle leaving 1" clearance so if the wheel falls off the car will only drop 1".
What weight? I once used the weight of my festy to pop the bead of a tire loose from the wheel so I could change out the valvestem. It took five attempts of dropping the car down on the tire before it finally popped loose!

Yep Everything was $20, after I paid $40 for a mechanic to do NOTHING! Drove it to work today, no problem. I'll be using a cutting wheel to get my new brakes and wheel cylinder out of the old one, as well as the bad bearing to take back to autozone and kindly inviting them to sit on it.

Since you have all that out, try getting it apart to get to the spindle in your spare time. If you can manage to get to the spindle, and have it undamaged, then you have a spare for the future, just in case this happens again. Hubs can be purchased brand new for cheap, then if the JY doesn't have a festy, you are still OK.

I went through this a couple times IN ONE TRIP many years ago. Turned out that it wasn't bad bearings, but really worn suspension. Check your struts and springs, make sure they are in good shape. Hitting good bumps on bad suspension can bust the bearings....
