So all the sudden I went from about 40-41 MPGs to 33. I have noticed it dropped a little but I haven't been driving it a whole lot. I haven't noticed any kind of puddle or smell from a gas leak. No running issues its running like a champ. I'll run 1 more tank and see what happens, any ideas if it doesn't come back up from anyone?

1) Is your air filter in relatively good/clean condition?
2) Check your vacuum lines for cracks or any suspicious problems... especially the FPR vacuum line.
3) How is your ignition timing at the moment?
4) Have you had a look at the O2 sensor as of yet?
5) Tires still inflated to proper spec?
6) Do you hear or feel any drag from your brakes or bearings at all? Does the car decelerate normally?
Just a few ideas on light/easy projects to get started on.Last edited by Aaronbrook37; 11-02-2012, 06:58 PM.1988 Chevy Sprint Turbo 997cc

Yeah but all this stuff shouldn't make it take a dive like that. Last winter around this time it barely dropped off at all if any. O2 sensor is less than 2 years old it should be fine. Tires should be close I'll check them though. Temps haven't dove here that much yet. I'll check the filter I imagine its fine too. It was just real random it seems like. Like I said I am going to run this tank and see what happens and go from there.
