  • Crank pulley question

    I managed to chip off half a tooth on my crank pulley.

    Can I still use it or should I try and find a replacement?

    Can you post a pic of the pulley? if you really don't wanna deal with it you should probably try to find a replacement!

        Which pulley you talking about? The timing belt one? If so I'd find a replacement since I'd hate to have premature timing belt wear from it

            I've already put a WTB in the appropriate section. Is the B3 pulley the same as the early B6 version?

              Yup I'd definitely want to fix that for sure, but I'm not sure about if the B3's would be the same or not

                I believe it's the same as a B3, but you'll need one from an early B3 or B6, since it should have the small nose crank.
                I wouldn't run the broken one, BTW.

                  If all else fails you could probably build it up with with epoxy and shape it with a file. Drill a couple holes in the broken part and stick in some wire for bonding. What do they call that stuff that's epxoy and powdered metal?
