i think it possibly is the throttle position sensor

the car still runs i drive it to work everyday but it sputters everday too

TPS was not it. Still sputtering a 55 to 60 mph.

How to diagnose (and even read) OBDI codes is well worth a 'sticky'. I have a CEL (for the first time in 10 years) soon after the car warms up. I'm thinking O2 sensor but perhaps it's time I learned how to use the check features.
