  • Looking for mechanic in Minnesota

Hi sorry if this isn't the right place but I'm looking for a mechanic in Minnesota close to St Paul for my Festiva in need of some engine work came home and engine is covered in oil. I just had brought it back from my cousin who is more of a parts swapped than an actual mechanic no disrespect to him, but I think this is just beyond his abilities since this is the third time he has tried to fix my oil leak. Any way I figured I'd check here before craigslist thanks.

Hopefully there is someone near by that can help! For now it would probably help if you took a pic of the said oil in the engine bay to give us a better idea of the situation. Can you see where it is leaking at? Valve cover? Rear main seal? Oil pan?

Can you see where the oil is coming from with a flashlight and the engine running?
It must be obvious if there is a lot of oil present.

100_0907.jpg100_0909.jpg as you can see the tube from the crankcase to the intake was off there was a screw in the intake part and i think there must have been some think in the tube from the crankcase.I have removed the screw and put it back together the way it should but before i did, i ran the car and even at idle it seamed to have a lot of pressure coming out. Also my cousin did try to re-ring the motor for me at this point is all i can do to help this is add a catch can and would one with a breather be better ?
