I don't have one of these on my car, and my wiring harness has no provision for it, but from what I've heard the fan does a great deal as far as reducing strain on the engine and providing more cool air.
Any ideas? I don't particularly want to mess about with the harness too much, because mine came from the only carb'd car in the junkyard and as a result the placement of connectors differs from EFI, factory, and aftermarket setups (mine was originally dealer installed aftermarket).
I suppose it wouldn't be too difficult to tap the wire that leads to the compressor, but I don't want unexpected results...
Now the air co. works, I don't want to screw it up!
Regards,
Tim
PS - the idle-up solenoid was defective - that's why the idle was rough.
