I'm considering swapping my cluster out for one with a tachometer. Is it possible or easy to roll back miles on the new cluster to match my actual mileage? And how about just the cluster swap in general, is it difficult?

Have you ever seen the movie Ferris Bueler's Day Off?
It's easy to change to the tach cluster as long as you remember to first undo the speedometer cable at the transmission and push in the release levers for both of the electrical connectors on the back of the cluster before pulling them off. Don't break the tabs or you will regret it.
Replace all the darkened or burnt out bulbs before installing the tach cluster.Last edited by bravekozak; 03-30-2013, 08:36 PM.

^ lol no I don't think he even does that, he uses a magic pic like a wand, waves it over the cluster, taps it twice, and BAM... it says what he wants it to say!
Why don't you just swap the current speedometer gear into the new cluster?2008 Kia Rio- new beater

Don't forget to reroute the Speedocable for the tach cluster.
