Pressure washer is a nice outdoor way to handle it.

I can also strongly suggest that using the kitchen oven to install new ring gear onto flywheel is not beneficial to marital harmony either..... However charcoal grill along with a bellows can work quite nicely! As long as it happens outdoors and you dont burn down any neighbors' houses or start forest fire.... or get arrested.

lol I had that happen once and just pulled the distributor and stuck a flat tip screwdriver in the end of the cam and turned the engine over by hand. The cam turned so I looked at the distributor and the shaft inside it had broke.
