I hate captive nuts...

Air hammer saved my ass. Removed the cage without cutting anything! Lots of anti seize and a bolt and nut with lock washer to the rescue! Of course the hard brake line froze and it twisted off so I'm going to replace them today and hopefully finish the car!

Use a 1" hole saw to go in from the side by the nut. Cut the bolt. Pull nut out thru new hole. Put new nut in thru hole and hold with wrench while tightening new lca bolt. Go on to next problem.
