Anyone know of anybody in the central North Carolina area who would rebuild a 5-speed manual transmission for a Festiva? I think the the ring gear went out on mine. Raised it up on jack stands, one wheel will turn but the other just moves jerkily. Makes a rattling/grinding noise too. Called a few places, but most don't want anything to do with it. Thanks for any help.

Med man, you might want to refine your location.
North Carolina is a large state.
If we have a better idea of where you are, we might know someone close.
Otherwise, we are talking shipping and/or some one make a long drive, possibly when someone else is nearer.'93 Blue 5spd 230K(down for clutch and overall maintanence)
