The price isn't too bad and it's totally worth it. Here's one on Amazon (that's where I bought mine) or you may be able to find a better deal on Ebay.

well its all back together and running great.
i put about 100 miles on it and doing good. only thang
is i have 3-5psi. oil presser less then previous just when I'm crusing
55 is 2300 rpm and 35 Psi use to be 40.
i still idle at 900-1000rpm and 20 psi . like all ways.
i did have a plunged oil passage on the head that i cleaned out would this have caused a restriction and higher oil presser .?
may be I'm just looking at the gage to hard lol.

well i have been having a slight miss at idle lately.
i changed spark plug wire, cap and plugs couldn't get a rotor local so didn't change that.
after changing these thing it run great for a few days but now the miss is back.
i think it is the rotor its very slight most would not notice it.
but while i was under the hood checking wires i heard the pcv rattling so i pulled it off and theirs blow by.
so i pulled the plugs and did a compression test. its not burning oil the plugs looked like new (only like 2 weeks old (800miles)
but the compression was lower than expected
            120 on all 4 and 150 wet.
what the heck !!!! are they still not seated ?
or is my hf compression tester junk?
I'm going crazy here it runs fantastic and I'm geting better mpg's than ever last tank was 45.8
it has about 4,500 sense rebuild.

Average #s. I got the same on my build.

I don't understand where some of these high compression test #s come from. Factory rigs won't even reach #s that high

My compression is so high from my blind head mill I need 110 octane to manage high coolant temps without ping/denotation, yet im only getting 120/130s.

I've always noticed that with small I4s....

/me shrugs. It runs don't worry.

ok so this slight miss got worse today and and when i would accelerate slowly down in the rpm )like any thing from 1500-2200 it would "hicks up" that the best way i can explain it.
so i changed fuel filter (it was about a year old) and no change.
then i cleaned the afm and sprayed some liquid wrench on the door top and bottom.
and it ran like a dream. we went on a drive about 30 miles and about 3 miles from home the rpm started hanging at 1500 and started its crapy idle again . what gives is it the afm going bad.
the tps ??? how can i check the tps. and is there any test i can do on the afm.
to recap i have changed pluges (ngk) wires, rotor, cap fuel filter.
                    any suggestions??

thinks ill try that .. some times sucks having a b6d swap harder to get parts. i hope i can get it working without buying a new afm.
but i guess this one has made it 269xxx thats a lot of flaping lol!!

I know the miata guys talk about the 1.6 tps having issues where it bogs. try disconecting it and see how it runs in closed loop. Im not sure if this is the issue your haveing or not but check this link

also check fuel pressure, see if it drops off.

thanks rick i did try unpluging the tps nothing happened but a cel cam on (witch was expected)
as of right now all things point to afm. also i don't have a fuel pressed tester i guess i need yo pick one up.

also this isn't really a hesitation. its more like if you would turn the key on and off really fast. if i chop the throttle it will run perfect its only when rolling in to the throttle very slowly.
