You really gotta lube the crap out of plug wires if you want to be able to take them off and put them back on more than once. I use a big tube of dielectric grease with the long funnel tip to make sure they're all nice and slimey inside. Your car must be throwing a code, I've got a similar issue with mine atm, so can you check the codes and let me know what it says? I don't know if mine is JUST plug wires, or is there's more to it.

Mines more of a high cold idle, which temp sensor did you replace? The gauge sender on the thermostat housing or the two wire sensor on the manifold?

I just developed a miss but it pretty much only does it when its moist/foggy out jarring hard occasionally, but you can still hear a very slight and consistent miss when everything is dry. I for sure had a bad coil wire, but I think the rest may also be bleeding spark juice, especially where they run close to each other..I did reroute them to separate them a little but no help. Who knows maybe Jason is onto something with the cracked porcelain idea, mine are >1500mi. Since swap new but the white porcelain is burnt brown.

Oh, i have a first gen b6 ran on second gen b6 electronics(ecu/VAF) with Festy distributor. I ran Festy electronics for a couple days and it ran like *dog poo*. Swapped to second gen 323 ecu/Festy VAF/Festy disty and it gained power but didn't feel quite right, so swapped in second gen s code VAF and I'm certain its pushing as much power to the wheels as it can, so you should really consider changing it all over...except the disty I don't *think* it matters. What's the VAF code you need for the b6d? I have a couple but I don't know if I have the one you need.

iam running the capri wiring and ecu dirty and afm .
basically its wired like a b6t and no iam not trowing roads.
as for temp sensor it the one on the underside of the intake.tells the ecu when it warm enough to go to closed loop

wwell their all out and the old wires back in.
it dose not do it missing under a load (hickuping)
any longer best u can think is when i over heated it.
the bottom of the wires melted and it would ark to the inside of the head while under a load.
