Someone at some point put a 2" exhaust on the car, and the exhaust behind the cat is past its prime to keep the story short, has a leak where it was rewelded back on, and could never fit a muffler properly because of the mangled pipe (flexpipe and a tin can with some clamps, but still leaked.)
But at any rate, being 2" AND having leaks, would the lack of backpressure effect power and fuel mileage?
I can never manage 40+ MPG unless on the highway.
Also is $90 shipped for an intermediate pipe from ebay really worth it? Or would an exhaust shop charge less to make one?
