Yea exactly why I want to keep it this tall lol but I've been talking to machene shops and custom axle shops and they are clueless about extending car cvs especially for a festy haha cuz I. Need my cv to be 36 1/2" but there is one that is looking into in and seeing what they can do1993 festy "white stallion" BP swap with 7" lift, 1ton wench

Rios use g series inboard splines. I'd really like to get ahold of some of the info your talking about, link us to the PDF you found with axle info!
Aspire axles with abs are the same, the abs is nothing more than a ring that slips over the knuckle side cv joint housing.
Serious man you need to post up pics and info I want to know how you got around the steering rack and linkage.
I'm pretty sure you could get away with sticking a rio inner tripot bearing in a festy or aspire in we cv cup. That doesn't help you for length but what I am suggesting is looking into other axles with longer lengths and trying to build your own from mixed and matched junk yard parts. I'm betting a lot of Mazda and Kia axles are similar, if you can figure out how to remove both cv cups.Last edited by zoom zoom; 11-11-2013, 04:34 PM.2008 Kia Rio- new beater

There's the pdf and the stearing was easy just cut and threw in 1" steel cut from left over bolts making the tierods longer and used the old controle arms cut the ends off and use the groove in it to keep the tierod stright haha but ill get to posting a fue pics now for ya

Yea sloppy welds I'm only using a 110amp flux core welder from harbor freight 100$ but they are still strong and make it easy to aline the wheels with it on the ground, I just slide under use a rench and turn it to ajust it but what kind of cars do I need to look at that would be long enough shaft to try to combine them?1993 festy "white stallion" BP swap with 7" lift, 1ton wench

I'm not really sure, something with a wider track width, which is almost all cars lol... Possibly mid/late 90's protégés or the 626's?2008 Kia Rio- new beater

Well the pictures are clear and I counted threads ! It turns out you have about three threads in the outer rod end ? Did you use some different ends or is that good enough ? I'm not really sure that bottom ball joint won't break under suspension movement up and down ? Is this car just a trail ride or a daily driver ?New build on the way .

The tierod ends have about 3/4" in them so I guess I got different ends and its my dd the control arm pivits the same angle as most every thang else and with the aspire suspenshion it only moves a little and is stiff so it don't bind the controle arms
the washers didn't work drove out of the garage and back in then went to drive around the block and it poped out again soooooooo its time to lower it 1"............. so how much of a coil do I cut off to equal 1" cuz my blocks to lift it would take wayyy to much to change it1993 festy "white stallion" BP swap with 7" lift, 1ton wench

Been reading 4x4 forms and lifted truck forms and they have used sleves to lenghten cv axles 4+" by fishmouthing the ends preheating with the axles press fitted and some guys been running there axles for years with abuse so me doing it to my festy will be safe, so with mine only being a 1" extenshion that's probably the route I'm going but I'm going to have a custom axle place do it1993 festy "white stallion" BP swap with 7" lift, 1ton wench
