      Burning the clutch?

      Dont feel too bad! Everyone has "a moment" like that and the reason for the dumbest thing thread!

          Maybe check the vane air flow? Maybe its sticking and after warming up the under hood temps make it worse?

            Reading back over this I see you didn't mention the Idle Speed Control Solenoid. It's probably the ISC Solenoid and Valve, it's connections, or the TPS is not indicating idle position.
            When I'm good I'm very, very good and when I'm bad I'm HORRID.

              Finally out of the teens and not raining so got a chance to check the IAC. It's reading 12.3ohms.

                Still stalling after repairing vacuum leaks. Poor old car is having some age problems. I can relate. 225k miles...the car that is. :0)
