the clutch plate Springs were no where to be found the throw out barring was on the wrong side of the pressure plate it was a blast to do!

So the throw out barring part isn't there any more can that part be replaced or can I get lucky and weld on a new pipe as the pilot barring? Cuz the trany is still good! Lol also I blew the clutch barrings in the passenger side yoke there replacement ones?

Hoping My excedy clutch will hold out a bit better

            P. S. BP motor in a 7" lifted festiva = trashed drive train glad I found out for ya'll

Where did the oil come from that poured out of the bell housing ? What's the passenger side yolk ?

Oil Idk where it came from cuz I replaced the rear main possible it's coming through the fly wheel bolts I have to retap the crankshaft I be leave. And the yoke is the part the cv slides in the part that's into the tranny

But the only thing Idk about is the part the throw out barring goes on. It's broken off so will I need to weld a new one on? If so what's the dimensions of it cuz I got nothing left of it

Looks like somebody never tightened the flywheel bolts !!
You will need a trans that piece Would be very hard to just weld back on .

Well there is no one any ware that has a trans so I have to weld it is my only option and it's not a part that gets to much stress it just guides the barring

Been calling all morning for the aluminum metal piece and nothing.. So I decided to call every place in Lincoln and found one festiva weighting for a call back on year, manual, and price

and Yea I used lock tight and tightened them down as tight as I could go on the fly wheel but apparently wasn't enough on my next day off I'll do more work on it hopefulhopefully finish the darn thing

Found a tranny off an 89 not sure if it's a 4 or 5 speed but does it matter? And will a 4 speed be better with my bigger tires? I'd so will I be able to just bolt it on?

If it's 89 it's most likely a four speed. If I remember correctly the gear ratios are the same as the five speed... the five speed just adds an over-drive gear to drop rev at highway speeds. To answer your other question... yes it will bolt up.
