I assume you mean you Festiva headlight and not your Aspire headlight.
The glass lens is attached to the steel headlight assembly with a silicone
seal and the bulb unit that is inserted into the back of the assembly has
a ring seal. these seals are supposed to keep moisture out of the headlight
assembly. If it's the lens seal that let the water in, you should probably
replace the entire assembly. I have never replaced a headlight lens myself.
To get all the water out, you will need to remove the headlight assembly,
remove the bulb and drain it out the hole where the bulb goes in.
there are 4 bolts that hold the assembly in place.
Your will need to remove the marker light and the grille to get to
the bolts. If on the right, remove the vac box; If on the left remove
the battery to gain easier access.Last edited by 1990new; 01-26-2014, 07:59 PM.

1. suck it up a long clear hose, but stop a few inches from the top.
pur your thumb over the end of the hose, pull it out and remove your thumb.
repeat until no more water.
2. drill a small hole on the bottom
I just saved you buying a new headlight.
Besides, Pride headlights from Korea are a different shape than our headlights.Last edited by bravekozak; 01-26-2014, 08:27 PM.

I drilled discrete 3/16" drain holes in the bottom of some of my soggy ones. Ideally you want to reseal the glass/metal joint before the reflective surface inside corrodes, or replace the entire unit. The lamps come out fairly quick if you remove the corner lamps first. Release the headlight spring using a needlenose vicegrip and pry the upper headlight adjuster screw off the light frame. Then merely pull the entire assembly out from the engagement at the side headlight adjuster screw. Obviously you're going to have to deal with the plastic ring and bulb connector while you're at it. Leaking headlight units are a common Festy problem and replacements are not cheap. First thing I check on derelict Festys is for good headlamps and in scavenging 4 cars so far have not found even one. If bravekozak reads this he might be able to fill us in on how much FourGreen in Korea charges for these. Otherwise anything under $100 is cheap.

Should you stumble across a nice clean pair sometime I don't mind sending you $100 for your trouble. The housing is not required just the pot and glass that is held by the adjuster screws and the tension spring. I still have 4-5 spares but the seals on these units ain't improving with age either. Please pipe up bravekozak and give us some idea of how much FourGreen charges for these.
