I've got a '91 up on jacks and spent a whole day trying to get drive shafts out -- BOTH sides are stuck solid. Tried all tricks found on this forum. I have a '93 in line behind the '91.

It's time to start throwing money (each product is only about $100) at the problem!

The last problem removal was successfuly done with vice grips and a sledge hammer. Just remember not to remove both from the transmission without first sticking a dowel in to support the gear, so that it doesn't fall down when you remove the opposite side. You may now Paypal me the $200 consulting fee.

I used the slide hammer and puller piece. Problem with it is it pulled the threads out of the puller piece!

As I indicated, I want to throw money at this. I've changed many a Festy driveshaft over the years, and had my share of nasty ones, but never two on the same vehicle. I want a solution with 98% or better success rate.

Bravekozak ... I know about not removing both sides simultaneously, so will reduce your consultation fee down to $0.02. You could earn more if you'd point me to illustrated parts breakdowns so I can place a big order with Four Green in time for next summer's 100-day car repair season (when you can work outside) in Anchorage. English required -- I don't know any Russian!

Google Chrome will translate the Russian on the fly, and there are pics for the parts anyway. It's more work to just go by the pics cause then you have to click through every one of them, but it does work.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.
