When and how did the shop learn you weren't going to let them drain your wallet?

I talked to them on the phone when I was still at work. I don't want to point fingers but it ran fine on the way to work that day and started missing when I picked it up. It's pretty suspicious.

And remember there are two bolts holding the distributor in place!
