Could be a worn out strut. What tire size are you running now?

First off, read the numbers on the side of the tire. If you get the numbers and show them here, we can tell you if there is something wrong with the tire size.

Here is a website that will walk you through how to read a tire : http://mykenwoodtire.com/frequently-...our-tire-size/

Being only a 13" tire though, I would guess you strut / springs are likely weak. If you want to be really cheap, you can get spacers to put in that will stiffen your springs but they are NOT the right way to fix the problem. http://www.amazon.ca/Superior-18-120.../dp/B00029K20C

Changing a strut isn't that hard, it mainly depends on how hard it is to get all the bolts off. Use the search function in the future and you can usually find whatever you are looking for. Here is one I came across that explains the basics of how to do the struts.

Post your Festiva or Aspire repair and maintenance issues. - USE THIS FORUM FOR ANY TECHNICAL RELATED POST (IE. How do I change my oil?, How to remove axle from tranny?, etc)

I thought aspire axles were to long?
Did they swap axel and lower control arm and that's why it rubbing?
Wait is it the front or rear?
If rear probably oversized tire on wrong offset rim.

Ok so you have the rear half of the aspire swap.
Probably an over sized tire I have the aspire swap and I run 185/60/14's and the will rub on big bumps with passengers.

155/80R13 shouldn't rub as long as the offset is correct on the wheel.
                    No festiva for me ATM...

Reading through this thread, it shouldn't rub just like Htchbck said. I run a set of 13" wheels off of a sprint and I very occasionally get slight rubbing with passengers. If I put my hand in behind I can feel it is very close to the spring perch. That's what your tire is probably hitting. The reason mine is doing that is due to worn out struts, but it's not enough to bug me as it happens so rarely.

The only other option other than replacing your springs/struts is to try a set of wheel spacers to move your tire away from the perch, but they are often considered DANGEROUS. I have personally run them myself with no problems, but others have had issues.

Read the link you gave us to Amazon. It shows the Rim specification below. The offset is 35mm.

Again, the easiest way to see whats happening is to use your hand to feel the space between your rear spring perch and the tire.
