No way those tires should be rubbing! Something's wrong here....

I've been able to get 155-80/13s to rub on every Festiva I've driven.. but I usually have to get a little air for it to happen.

        Tom's right, something's up!

I believe it isn't the size of the tires.
Since he has 13" non-OEM wheels, it could be the off set that is causing the tires to rub.
What say you Vinelandidiot13, do you know off of what vehical your wheels came from?

Well that would explain it. I'd just go with a 5mm spacer then. And studs.

I just tried to do mine, and I cant keep the chrome shaft from turning when I turn the upper nut to it. I don't want to grip the shaft too hard w a vise grip and bend or shape it wrong.

There's usually 2 flats on the top of that shaft hold that with a wrench and turn the big nut with another.

theres a flat on the top of the shaft, but the nut still has to pass it for me to be able to grip it. the nut hasnt gone down far enough.

but the new ones came with diff nuts that screw down a little more to be able to reach the flat. welp, guess ill be removing the nuts on this one!

EDIT: the new nut replacement works best, you can use one wrench to turn the nut, one to hold the flat. only question i have now is, how far do i tighten down the nut? i had the jack under it pushing the axle up, took it out and tightened it as much as possible w no jack under it.
