I was getting clutch chatter, mostly in damp weather, but it went away. Read at the time that it could be moisture or could be dirt or glazing build up on the clutch. Could be other things, like worn out clutch on a higher milage vehicle. No wobblies in my case, just usual clutch chatter vibration.Original owner of silver grey carburetted 1989 Festiva. 105k km as of June 2006. 140k km as of June 2021.

I've been investigating front end noise. Mechanic noticed separated rear motor mount and said it would cause noise when starting or stopping. To check, lift front end of car and insert pry bar into motor mount through hole in cross member engine support. He was able to show me separation in mount by pulling down on pry bar.Original owner of silver grey carburetted 1989 Festiva. 105k km as of June 2006. 140k km as of June 2021.

Thats what motor mounts do. They vibrate. I always assumed my aspire vibrates from a start due to the insane amount of torque it takes to get a car rolling, and the little torque the engine offers at low rpms
