So I tried pulling the links out but because it was caked in rust it just snapped on me. I was able to retrieve the three prong link. So I bought some fuse connectors and this is what I ended up with.

    Think it will last?

I wanna think that there's a fuse box that I can run these wires into that has 30 and 40 amp fuses built in to it. Home Depot maybe..

Car is still not starting but I think I might have drained my battery trying to start it so I'll have to charge and try again in the morning.

That looks good to me! Just wondering if that's heat shrink or electrical tape

        Electrical tape )
I'm willing to keep it temporarily until I can solder or something.
